Itinerary

  1. 1Day 1: Mendoza – Veguitas Camp – Acclimatization Trek

We meet our guide in the morning and drive to Vallecitos, where we begin our trek to Veguitas camp at 3,100 m a.s.l. We pitch our tents there after a 2-3 hour walk. Depending on how our altitude adaptation progresses, we take a trek around the area and get ready to rest.

  2. 2Day 2: Camp – Adolfo Calle Summit – Camp

At first light, after an energizing breakfast, we head for the summit on an 8-hour day, enjoying every step of the majesty of the Andes, its landscapes and great snow-capped peaks. We then return to camp to rest and recover after an exhausting day.

  3. 3Day 3: Return to the City of Mendoza

Early, after enjoying 3 incredible days, we break camp and head back to the vehicle to return home and share the great experience we lived. This third day is also planned in case we need 1 extra day to acclimatize or because of bad weather.
